Childbirth Class 

This class is designed to educate parents about the childbirth process. Learn about the stages of labor, vaginal and assisted deliveries and both non-medicated and medicated forms of pain control. We encourage parents to take this class in their seventh to eighth month of pregnancy. This class is offered in a two-part series or an all-day Saturday class. 

Baby Basics: Understanding Your Newborn

Learn the essentials of parenting a newborn from birth to 6 weeks old. This class covers newborn care, infant behavior, safe sleep, recognizing illness and comforting techniques. 

Breastfeeding Preparation

Attend this informative class to build your confidence by learning what you need to get off to a good start on your journey to breastfeeding success.

Boot Camp for New Dads

This all-men class led by a team of veteran dads will give expectant or new dads a chance to talk with other men about being a father. Dads will learn baby basics, can ask questions, discuss concerns, gain confidence, and prepare for fatherhood!  

Infant Massage: Soothing Techniques

Looking for ways to relax and bond with your baby? Learn to know when and how to give an infant massage. These techniques will help calm, relax, promote sleep and enhance bonding between a caregiver and an infant. Class can be taken prior to delivery, or with infants 6 weeks to 1 year of age. 

Infant and Child CPR 

This American Heart Association Friends and Family class teaches family members how to be lifesavers by providing infant and child CPR skills. Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but DO NOT need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
