Maria Villalobos is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She began her healthcare career over two decades ago, working across a variety of specialties before advancing her practice. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she is dedicated to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care.
Maria has a clinical focus in hepatology and liver care, gaining specialized experience at the Loma Linda University Transplant Institute. She cares for patients with a wide range of liver diseases and has additional experience in oncology, hospice and primary care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Maria is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population with cultural sensitivity and clear, compassionate communication.
As a proud U.S Air Force veteran, Maria continues to carry the values of service, dedication and resilience into her practice. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), American Liver Foundation, Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL).
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Maria enjoys hiking, mountain biking, exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with her family.
